One
of the most common caused of a "check engine light" is a loose or
improperly seated gas cap. Did you recently fill up the gas tank? Did
you start the car before the gas cap was reinstalled? Did you remove the
gas cap with car still running? Did the gas cap click when you put it
back on? Not sure?
When the low tire pressure indicator comes on it can be very simple and
a quick fix. This is very common this time of year with the falling
temperatures. Air will contract with lower temperatures and tires came
become deflated. Check and set your tire pressure to avoid this warning
light. The proper tire pressure will be noted on the outside of your
tire. Proper tire pressure promotes better fuel economy and avoids
additional tire wear. A simple check can save you money in the long run.
